On September 27^th Ambassador Nikolay Yankov welcomed to the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Baku the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Azerbaijan HE Michel Peetermans. Ambassador Yankov congratulated Ambassador Peetersmans on his new position and wished him a successful and fruitful posting.

The two ambassadors exchanged ideas and discussed the possible cooperation between the two diplomatic missions for the implementation of the European Union common policy, as well as the national priorities.

Topics, related to the diplomatic activity in Turkmenistan, which is a country of second accreditation for both ambassadors, were also discussed.
