On January 21, 2022 at the initiative of Ambassador Kalin Anastasov, the National Assembly of Armenia hosted a meeting with the Chairperson of the Armenia-Bulgaria Friendship Group of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ms. Anush Begloyan.

In the conversation, Ms. Begloyan and Ambassador Anastasov declared the readiness of both sides to develop an active parliamentary dialogue through Friendship Groups.

During the meeting, Ambassador Anastasov pointed out that Bulgaria has always strived for partnership, and expressed readiness to exchange positive practices and share the EU experience.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Anastasov used the opportunity to invite Ms. Begloyan and the members of the Friendship Group to participate in the upcoming celebration of the Bulgarian national holiday March 3, which the embassy organizes at the 131st school "Peyo Yavorov" in Yerevan. The invitation was accepted with satisfaction and gratitude, and Ms. Begloyan noted that she is ready to support all initiatives and events that promote and build on good interstate relations with Bulgaria.
