We are happy to introduce to you a video message of H.E. Ambassador Maria Pavlova dedicated to the International Children's Day – 1st of June. Ambassador Pavlova used the opportunity to congratulate all Armenian children, their parents and the Armenian and international institutions in their capacity of valuable partners of the Bulgarian embassy in Yerevan.

In the light of the key messages related to this festive day,  Mrs. Pavlova highlighted the national priorities of Bulgaria in the field of children’s rights and their well-being. She recalled the commitment of Bulgaria to support Armenian reform in childcare sector and social integration of vulnerable children through its bilateral development assistance. In this context, she praised the two projects implemented by UNICEF-Armenia. She underlined the positive experience and good practices garnered by Bulgaria during the transition period and the readiness of our country to share it with its Eastern partners, including Armenia. Bulgaria has allocated more than 500 000 BGN in the latest years only fore children-related projects in Armenia.

The Bulgarian ambassador  was  happy to inform of the  recent decision of the Bulgarian Government to provide in-kind humanitarian assistance to the friendly government and people of Armenia as an act of solidarity in tackling the COVID-19 challenges. The humanitarian aid is part of the Bulgarian contribution to the EU-wide initiative “Team Europe”, supporting the Eastern Partnership countries in their fight against the pandemic and its consequences. "United we stand strong!”, is the main message coming from the Bulgarian ambassador.
