New Partnership Agreement Sees State Institute for Culture Activity Continue to Expand
Over the course of a two-day visit at the end of November 2025, a team from the State Institute for Culture held working meetings at the Regional Open-Air Ethnographic Museum - ETАR, where a cooperation agreement was signed between the director of the Cultural Institute, Ms. Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova, and the director of the museum, Prof. Dr. Svetlana Dimitrova.
The newly established partnership provides an opportunity for periodic exchange of information between the two institutions via the existing contacts and communication channels. Discussions between Ms. Yoveva-Dimitrova and Prof. Dr. Dimitrova confirmed the interest both parties hold in cooperating on joint projects and programs with national and international funding.
This agreement represents an important step in expanding the network of local cultural partners the State Institute for Culture works with. Its aim is to provide both organisations the opportunity to jointly develop creative projects in the field of cultural diplomacy, aimed at raising awareness and promoting the achievements of Bulgarian art and culture both at home and abroad.
During the visit, the State Institute for Culture presented the international exhibition "National Costumes: A Source of Pride and Heritage," initiated by the Global Network for Cultural Diplomacy (GPDNet) in Doha, Qatar. The exhibition can be viewed at the Regional Museum until March 2026.
