After the memorable debut in the capital, the exhibition for children and young people based on the book of the same name by Birgitta Ber "Susie, the granddaughter from house #4 and the time of the hidden Jewish stars" will be presented in the city of Vidin. The exhibition will be opened on September 20 at 18:00 at the Jules Pasquin Cultural Center and will remain there until January 20, 2025.
Susie, the Granddaughter of N4 House is an unadulterated and genuinely moving look at the reality of fascism as experienced by a Jewish child and his family, a story from the bombed but unbroken and unbroken house of our collective memory.
A story that deserves to become part of our children's world and does not deserve to come under fire from the ideological layers of us, their parents.
The project is a work with memory and worldview and offers options for action that raise awareness for self-responsible decision. One of the highlights is anti-Semitism and the memory of Susie and the Holocaust. The aim is to build bridges to the present, impart knowledge and raise awareness of the dangers associated with anti-Semitism, but also with exclusion in general (xenophobia, otherness, bullying, etc.).
