Bulgarian Participation in the 2025 European Film Festival in Amman
On September 24, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Jordan participated in the 2025 European Film Festival in the capital Amman with the screening of the Bulgarian feature film "Trap" by director Nadezhda Koseva, provided by the State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event was organized with the kind assistance of the Delegation of the European Union (DEU) in Amman and the Royal Film Commission of Jordan.
The Bulgarian film attracted many visitors, so the cinema hall turned out to be cramped for everyone wishing to enjoy the work. Among the spectators were both ordinary Jordanians and representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations.
In her speech to the guests, Vesela Hadzhimalakova, Second Secretary at The Bulgarian Embassy in Amman, briefly presented the synopsis of the Bulgarian production, emphasizing the awards that the film won within the framework of the Bulgarian Feature Film Festival "Golden Rose" in 2024. She expressed gratitude on behalf of the Bulgarian Embassy the Delegation of the European Union in Amman and especially to the Royal Film Commission for the excellent organization and for the opportunity provided to the Republic of Bulgaria to participate for another year in this initiative to promote European cinema in Jordan.
