The Bulgarian Embassy in Abuja Became a Member of the EUNIC Cluster in Nigeria

On August 30, 2021, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Abuja officially joined as a full member of the cluster of the Association of European National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) operating in Nigeria. During the ceremony, organized by the chairman of the local cluster - the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Marcelino Cabañas, a letter was handed by the director of the State Institute for Culture under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova, granting a mandate to the diplomatic mission in Abuja to join.

During the ceremony, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Nigeria,Yanko Yordanov, signed the Statute of the cluster, with which the Embassy in Abuja acquired the status of a full member, confirming the intention of the Bulgarian side to actively involve EUNIC member states in joint cultural projects.
