The priorities of the Bulgarian presidency of the Council of the EU were presented Ambassador Martin Ivanov at a working lunch with the Ambassadors of the EU Member States and of the candidate countries in Helsinki. Mr. Timo Soini, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, was a guest of honour of the meeting, held on 13 February.

In his address Ambassador Ivanov placed an emphasis on the European perspective of the Western Balkans – one of the main priorities of our presidency. Mr. Soini expressed his support in this respect and presented the positions of his country on key issues of the international agenda.
