The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Maria Angelieva and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Bulgaria, Mrs. Olesya Ilashchuk opened on 8 May at the ‘Mission’ Gallery of the State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria the exhibition ‘Qalqan/Shield’ by the Crimean Tatar artist Rustem Skybin. The event was honoured by many distinguished guests and diplomats.

Bulgaria is expected to join the OECD by the end of 2025

For the first time Bulgaria has a specific deadline for joining the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This is what Prime Minister Glavchev told journalists after his meeting with OECD Secretary General Matthias Korman. From the conversation of Prime Minister Glavchev with Secretary General Korman it became clear that the horizon for our country's accession is the end of next year 2025. A total of 31 reports of the OECD committees on Bulgaria have been adopted, with 26 more to go.
