Deputy Minister Petrova opened the new training course "Economic Diplomacy", organized by the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Today, Deputy Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova opened the new training course "Economic Diplomacy", organized by the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The main goal of the training is to increase the professional qualification of the participants and the acquisition of practical skills in this important and topical field. At the same time, the course aims to expand cooperation with other institutions of the central state administration, professional associations, and the non-governmental sector.

Deputy Minister Petrova welcomed the participants who expressed interest in the course and pointed out that economic diplomacy has an even greater role in the context of current events. Coordination between departments in this area is extremely important, as it is becoming a key method and resource of diplomacy, she added.

The course "Economic Diplomacy" will be attended by 30 employees from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
