Bulgaria’s Ambassador-Designate to Nigeria Yanko Yordanov held a working meeting with Ambassador Salaheddine Abbas Ibrahima, High Commissioner of Cameroon and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Abuja.  All through the conversation, subjects of mutual interest on Bulgaria-Cameroon bilateral agenda were discussed - defence cooperation, opportunities for joint activities between both countries’ institutes for diplomatic training and developing forms of partnerships between the national libraries. 

On behalf of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimira Aleksandrova, Director of the National Library ‘’St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, a collection of books was presented by Ambassador Yordanov as a gift for the National Library of Cameroon in Yaoundé.  From Bulgarian side, readiness was expressed for inter-library cooperation, including by means of signing of a corresponding memorandum between the national libraries in Sofia and in Yaoundé. Ambassador Salaheddine Ibrahima thanked for the collection of books and highly appreciated the initiative of Bulgaria’s National Library.
